MANILA - Rains will continue to dampen large swaths of Luzon even as tropical cyclones "Maring" and "Lannie" move away from the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) Wednesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said. At 10 a.m., Tropical Storm Maring was spotted 370 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales, while Typhoon Lannie was seen 605 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes.
